Today we are thankful for our soldiers, who serve something bigger than themselves. Avery asked me last night why we celebrated Memorial Day. I had the great opportunity to talk to him about freedom, about rights. We talked about how in some countries boys and girls do not have the right to pray to God, or to go to church. How in some countries, mom's and dad's aren't allowed to stand up and talk about what they believe in. We talked about the men and women who love this country so much, that they are willing to sacrifice their own lives, so that we can enjoy ours. So today we are thankful to those who are serving, and those who have died as service members. Those who are home, but still feel like they are at war. We are thankful for you, and we are excited that soon, we will be a part of your life; serving your family and loving your teenagers.
