Update 6/2/2013

We are so thankful that within  24 hours of our house being "back" on the market… we are back under contract!  Last Monday our realtor called with an offer that was even better than the original one.  We never doubted God's faithfulness - even though we don't always understand His ways!


Ministry "behind the gates" means serving our militaries youth and walking alongside of them during a difficult time in their lives. But recently when we visited a local base and met some of the volunteers that we will have the opportunity to work with, Ben and I realized that this ministry keeps going… it's not limited… it's wide and deep.  A large part of our job will be discipling young men and women (soldiers) who volunteer with us. We have the privilege to love, pray, and work alongside these men and women, as they not only serve our country, but also reach out to serve the youth in their own community, and share the hope of Christ! 

We are still anticipating being on our assigned military base in July. As we work over the next few weeks to raise the last 25%, we are praying that the Lord brings the right people into our lives to partner with us.
