There is no doubt in my mind that God created boys and girls oh so differently. If you don't believe me then take them to a pond. As we are feeding the ducks near our house today both boys (4 and 12 months) find it completely entertaining to throw sticks, dirt, grass, and leaves into the pond. And score 10 more if you can actually hit the duck. Even little X being so small cracks up as he throws a stick 12 inches into the water. But then there is Sweet E. (2) More concerned about the plastic bag that someone has carelessly tossed in the pond. Yet she is a woman in training and just as she should, she sweetly asks the knight in training (Big A) to fish her a stick out of the pond so she can retrieve the bag and save the turtles from demise.
Thank you Lord for the differences in each of these kids. Please help me not to take it for granted and to smile as I see them grow into the men and women you will have them to be.
